Visit me on Flickr

I have not posted much at all here lately. I'm sorry if you've checked up on us... I think for a while I am going to be posting most of my photos on www.flickr.com. Stop by and visit me there. I have most of the photos of the littles marked private for friends and family viewing only. If you don't have an account, you can sign up for free. They really don't bother you at all,and there's no obligation after you sign up. Once you have an account, flickr mail or just plain email me your flickr name and I'll add you to my contacts! If you'd rather I kept up my blog, let me know! This is really just an experiment for now:) My name on flickr is Sarahjane's5

April 3rd, Caedmon turned 5!!!!! I can't believe it! He is such a big guy, and this fall he goes to kindergarten! Wow!!! On the day of his birthday, we took 6 other kids to see Meet the Robinsons. It was such a fun time! I highly recommend the movie:)

Where have we been?

Hanging out in Shockoe Bottom...

Well, I have been neglecting the blog. It was really quite warm here last week (it got up to 83!) and now it's even colder than normal for March. Yesterday we went down to Carytown for lunch at an old favorite, Coppolla's. Then we went down to Shockoe Slip to walk around in the cold. We stopped at the bottom too, and went into the newly restored Main Street Train Station. It's pretty cool, and so much history! Stopping at the Shamrock the Block party was a must as well. The leprechan played a couple of tricks at our house; it was so exciting. Prentice talked about the green milk all night. All in all, it was a pretty fun St. Patrick's Day! Hope yours was fun too.

This is Addie from last week. The weather was so nice, but now I have spring fever!!!!

Playing with Angles and Color in Carytown

It is soooooo cold here today! I think I heard that it will be the coldest it has been in three or four years. Wow! Welcome back to reality! This is not the Caribbean! Max and I had a great time, and the littles had so much fun with Grandma and Grandpa and then with Nonny and Boppa. I will post some pictures from our trip soon. Here are a couple from this morning in Carytown. After we dropped Caedmon off at school, Prent, Addie, and I took a meal to a family who lives in the fan. We stopped by Carytown to take some photos. A short session, because it's so chilly cold! Stay warm!

More Photos

Some photos from this afternoon.

MIA!!!

Ugh! So a lot has happened at the Doerfler castle since my last post. I am so delinquent, and so sorry! I hope you all haven't given up hope and stopped checking in (although if you have, you're not reading this). It seems that November and December flew by while I wasn't looking. Maybe they snuck by while the ceiling in the garage started leaking again, or when the dishwasher broke (still waiting on the parts!), or maybe it was when I was driving to and from all kinds of appointments for Prentice...who knows! But here we are in 2007! I remember in junior high wondering what it would be like in 1999 (you know, I planned on partying like it was 1999). Now it's 2007, and I am shocked when Max told me he spotted three grey hairs! Life is great, though! Here are a few photos from the recent days!
